You may need a strong magnifying glass to read the inscription. It should be for a man, but it actually looks more like a woman when it comes down to it. I bought it for my 15 year old son for Christmas but I have to tell him what it says because he can never read it. If it wasn't so close to Christmas I would have sent it back. Maybe something else.
