So if you're willing to pay $30 for a no-frills glass, go ahead. It is 85% sufficient for any purpose related to glass jars. Some people complain that the lid leaks, but I don't care. I just wanted something good to drink water from. However, I can't give a 100% adequate result because the label "MADE IN CHINA" on the bottom of the bottle is somehow enlarged by the curvature of the bottle and every time I look at my water bottle it says "WⱯDE II" CHIIⱯ " in big black letters at the very top! I haven't gotten around to removing the distracting words yet. (I don't really care where it was made.) But to be honest, it's hard to get it off a jar distinguish pasta sauce if you used the sauce, so I'm not 100% sure why I spent $30 on something I would have thrown in the trash after a spaghetti dinner.
