Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Architect Desk Lamp with Clamp, Eye-Care Swing Arm, Stepless Dimming & Adjustable Color Temperature, Modern Design with Memory & Timing Function for Study, Work, Home, Office, 10W by Danny Robertson

Nice lamp, very adjustable, could use a lampshade.

The first one I bought had a problem - the connection between the power supply and the lamp was intermittent and loose so any movement resulted in a loss of light output. The seller promptly sent me a replacement (they say a rebuilt adapter, although it seems the same to me) and the replacement is much better. I don't have much confidence yet that this connection will be reliable in the long run, but for now it's working. This lamp is good because it can be adjusted. The clamp rotates 180 degrees and the lamp head itself rotates. Brightness and color temperature are adjustable. I have mine on an external switch and it always reverts to the previously used settings. I like the one button toggle between the dialed settings and the cold glow of full brightness. range is fantastic; I installed it on one side of my desk and I can position the light almost in the middle without blocking the monitor. The LEDs are barely embedded in the body, which means that the light is emitted almost 180ยฐ downwards. This means you're likely to get some glare if you have the lamp above eye level. It's mounted on my desk between me and my computer screen, and to keep it out of my sight I have to rotate the top to face the screen. I plan to solve this problem by 3D printing a small lampshade so that the light is directed more downwards. I've experimented by gluing some cardboard to the sides and it's a big improvement (for my use).
