I don’t wear lip sticks. I barely wear this lip stain. But I was going on some trips and getting pictures done and wanted a tiny pop of color, dang it. So I grabbed this: it’s so smooth. "Velvet” is right. It’s very very very thick and well pigmented. A tiny bit goes a super long way. I like to do two layers and then blot. I primarily use Burt’s Bees peppermint chapstick in the daily, and this allows me to moisturize over it. My chapstick does pick up some of the pigment, but it’s not awful. I am someone who licks and chews their lips if I won’t have gum, though, so it probably doesn’t last me as well as it should. Ie: not the target audience or ideal sample size. But I’m confident that if you are capable of acting like an adult and leaving your lips alone while you’re wearing lip color, it’ll last all day.
