About the same size as the belt it replaces but just won't stay on the brush. I don't see any fundamental difference. The thickness is slightly larger, but the inner diameter is the same as the old one. The new belt runs for about 10 seconds and moves to the outer edge of the brush. When this happens, it will bounce against the plastic, eventually destroying the powerhead. The previous belt (6 years old and missing teeth) was also purchased from Vacuum Fix but this new one seems to have been made by Compact and the old one by Vac Belts.
