The Electrolux belt fits perfectly.

I have a 25 year old Elextrolux Ambassador III that still works as a trooper. The brush belt lost a few teeth after I sucked on a big nail (okay, a couple big nails) and I had to replace it. This replacement strap fits perfectly with no issues and the Power Head works and sounds better than ever. (I think the belt alone failed more than I thought). I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • Not as good as advertised

The brush slides into spare batteries and parts

About the same size as the belt it replaces but just won't stay on the brush. I don't see any fundamental difference. The thickness is slightly larger, but the inner diameter is the same as the old one. The new belt runs for about 10 seconds and moves to the outer edge of the brush. When this happens, it will bounce against the plastic, eventually destroying the powerhead. The previous belt (6 years old and missing teeth) was also purchased from Vacuum Fix but this new one seems to have been…

Electrolux Silverado 1505 Replacement Belt

If you're looking for the 7527-3 this is NOT the replacement you need. I ordered this online based on descriptions from other sellers/suppliers and Revain said it would fit the Electrolux Silverado 1505. I even emailed several sellers and they confirmed it was the right belt; so i ordered it. This belt is approximately 3-1/4" in diameter and approximately 7/16" wide. TOO LARGE. The belt I needed (7527-3) was 3" in diameter and 1/4-5/16" wide. I didn't realize there was a small number stamped on

"KEEP YOUR VAC RUNNING SLOOTH "

In all my reviews I try to add something useful for those who read them. I'll try to do the same here for this timing belt. Fits my Electrolux Prolux Plus vacuum cleaner. I had to do some research to find a belt that matched my original part number 7527-11U. With great surprise I found out that this number is 48359 which is referred to as PN5 or PN6. I was so glad I was able to bring my trusty vacuum cleaner back to life. I went to Revain and dialed a new number. phew! It came with a picture…

Belt replacement that doesn't quite fit

I read in reviews that some of these straps are too loose. But I decided to take a chance. Of course, mine fits looser than the previous PN5-PN6 straps I've always used on my Electrolux power head. After seeing how loose this fit was, I was afraid it would be too loose to stay, but I decided to give it a try. After installation I vacuumed the carpet for about 5 minutes and it stayed in place. I don't expect him to last long no matter how free he is. I have included the above images to show my…
