Review on πŸ”Œ UPTab DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 Active Adapter with HDR Support - Experience 4k 120Hz or 8K 60Hz with HDR on PC or Tablet via HDMI Enabled Monitor, TV, or Projector by Chad Sorensen

Works best as expected in ports and adapters

Worked great on my Windows 10 PC with DisplayPort 1.2 to capture 4k at 60Hz with RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4 color subsampling on Samsung UHD -Television I'm using is a monitor (which only has HDMI inputs). Text is very clear with no color compression artifacts, as if using 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 color subsampling. Please note that your graphics card must support this resolution and refresh rate on DisplayPort for this to work. Of course your TV/monitor should be too. I have an older motherboard from 2013 I believe and its BIOS POST is not shown directly through this connection which means I cannot edit the BIOS settings. It probably just doesn't recognize the display capabilities properly because it's old, so I don't blame that adapter. Bypass this with a separate HDMI cable, which the BIOS uses when I need to tweak settings (useful when dual booting). Windows itself needed no encouragement to take full advantage of the connection.
