Works best as expected in ports and adapters

Worked great on my Windows 10 PC with DisplayPort 1.2 to capture 4k at 60Hz with RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4 color subsampling on Samsung UHD -Television I'm using is a monitor (which only has HDMI inputs). Text is very clear with no color compression artifacts, as if using 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 color subsampling. Please note that your graphics card must support this resolution and refresh rate on DisplayPort for this to work. Of course your TV/monitor should be too. I have an older motherboard from 2013 I…

Doesn't work as advertised

These things are like a minefield for navigation as the vast majority of them just lie about their capabilities. Knowing that the vast majority of their customers are likely only dealing with 1080p signals, some perhaps 1440p. and a few with 4k @30. However, they boldly claim that the device can play 4k at 60Hz. which in turn the vast majority cannot do at all. This one will try as you will get the initial picture but then it will turn off then turn on then turn off then turn on again. as it…

Works better than expected, results are good

Excellent product, plug and play for my setup and 4K resolution as standard, no custom configuration needed. I bought an active DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0a adapter to see if it would work better than the old passive DisplayPort to HDMI adapter I had on hand with a recently purchased 50" flat panel display . While I was able to display a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with the passive DP to HDMI adapter, I had to create my own resolution for the NVIDIA GPU. After every reboot, and often after…
