I bought these to add color to my porch for my son's prom. I didn't want super bright lights, I wanted more ambient light, which it is. They have a unique look thanks to the string of beads inside each shatterproof plastic bulb. They look absolutely perfect hanging and I leave them on all the time as they are waterproof. The filament outputs a low voltage of 5 volts, so you don't have to worry about overloading the circuit. 30 bulbs per strand, 2 spare bulbs included. The entire strand is 51.5 feet long, but the distance between the first and last bulbs is 8.5 feet. The versatility and functionality of these lamps is amazing. You get 2 remote controls that control all functions like 7 modes, 4 speeds and 4 timers. Different modes can switch 16 single colors and 2 mixed colors between Wave, Strobe, Flicker, Fade, Jump, Asynchronous Fade and Asynchronous Jump. It also has a memory feature that remembers the last mode or color used, which is perfect if you plug your strand into a smart outlet like I did. Installation was very easy as each lamp base has a hook. This is a high quality and very durable garland. We love her!
