Size XXXL too small for a German Dane - Update 21/08/2020

UPDATE: 21/08/2020 Now that we've been using them for a few days I can add a few more info. Sticky patches for 4 and sticking them on separate pads was a bad idea. They don't hold up well and fall off at the end of the day. Putting the whole patch on the paw works much better even if it is too small. 2) The problem of adhesion. If they're on, they work. Holding her is a problem. Even after applying the entire patch to the paw, they will still fall off after (at best) two days, after which they will need to be reapplied. This is especially true if the dog spends all of his time outside. Original Review: Bought these for my aging Great Dane. His bare paws often slip on the hardwood floor and I thought these pads might help. You arrived today. You immediately lose a star for: 1) There were no instructions so I just had to build it based on the comments and feedback from others here on Revain. Okay, I can figure out how to put them on, but . . .2) even the size XXXL is too small for my Great Dane's paws. To be fair, at 190 pounds it's well over the 80+ pound rating according to the XXXL sizing guidelines, but that's about as big as they come. So I placed an order. To make them fit I had to cut them into separate pads for the 4 pads on my dog's paw. Instead of 1 sticky paw print covering all 4 paw pads, the sticky paw print was cut into 4 pieces and glued to each pad separately. (I hope that makes sense). I'm not sure how well they will hold up this way, but so far it's working. What's good: 1) My dog doesn't seem to mind wearing them. He doesn't even pay attention to her. 2) They definitely help him hold on to the wood floor surface. When he follows him, his legs don't spread and slide out from under him like they used to. Thanks a lot for this! I'll come back and update if anything changes. Until then, rest assured it's working for my dog.
