I bought this hub to replace the existing hub. When I connected my Garmin Instinct to the new hub, I received unrecognized device error messages. (My Garmin worked fine with my old hub, which had a bad port, so I replaced it.) I changed the port and it usually recognized the device, but when I tried to install an update I was able to not recognize no matter what . how many ports did you try. Return of this hub and return to the old hub. Update: I would like to say that the seller has tried to identify the problem. However, since I returned the hub, I cannot provide the information requested. I appreciate your efforts.
