This product works great! They print with the same quality as HP branded cartridges but are much cheaper. Be sure to read the description before you buy, I bought this knowing it would require some DIY (these DIYs take every 5-10 minutes and all tools are provided). Original printer cartridges must be chipped out and placed in a new cartridge, but this is a very simple process with the tools provided. You just take it out and put it in, it's that easy! The instructions are very well written and illustrated with pictures to avoid confusion. However, there is a caveat: the original chip will still report that the new cartridge is low on toner, this will NOT happen. I just turned off HP toner low notifications on my computer. It still shows up on the printer. It doesn't really bother me as I only use it as a home printer and if I run out of toner and the print quality drops, well, I'll just buy new cartridges when the time comes. I could see this becoming a bit more of a problem in an office environment where documents need to be sent as quickly as possible. Although these cartridges have a long lifespan, it would be easy enough to swap them out and get back to work if another set of cartridges were handy. Do it yourself! If you don't want to do DIY on a cartridge, don't buy it or leave a bad review, READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. I am very satisfied with this product and I recommend it to everyone!
