Incredibly expensive

Letong Sinian's 100% Compostable Cling Film (323 square feet) attracted me because it is an eco-friendly cling film. They say it fully biodegrades in 4-6 weeks in the compost. I'm not sure how biodegradable it should be if just thrown in the regular trash. Hopefully. I take their word for it being biodegradable as I can't verify. The packaging of this cling film was terrible. The box was thin and fell apart. I wouldn't care except that it was difficult to use cling film. You need to install the cutter by yourself on the box that comes in the tube. The sides of the box came loose when I took out the pipe to get to the cutter. This means the hose doesn't really stay in place when you put everything back together. This makes peeling and cutting of the sticky film troublesome. I'll probably put that cling film in the box I'm almost done with when the tube fits. Which brings me to my second problem... This cling film is ridiculously expensive at $27.99. I understand that this is an eco-friendly product, but I just can't understand the price of cling film. I've seen other compostable cling film for less than half that price. I can buy name brand cling film (non-compostable) for about $3. And if you want to take that much, I need a box that works. Serious. The cling film itself is a bit thin, but that may be due to the compostability. I see it with compostable garbage bags. It clings to anything I put on it, but the more subtle nature makes it cling to itself when you're trying to deal with it. Let the cling film battle begin! All in all, I simply cannot recommend this product.
