Review on πŸ” Enhanced SEO: MOOG 515058 Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly by Robert Pierce

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unusual for Moog products - defect

Moog make good quality products, but even Moog is not without a defective product. The entire front suspension was replaced with Moog parts. All parts were fitted and professionally aligned by ASE certified mechanics, with the addition of new Bilstein shocks. My 1500HD wasn't that comfortable to drive, even from what I remember from the factory. All Moog and Bilstein parts were equal or better than OEM. I have just had my truck serviced and was informed that my hub assembly is faulty and needs to be replaced. I told the mechanic that I think the noise could be from the steering pump or bad new brake pads. He said it's your hub. I agree as I know the symptoms of the wheel hub assembly he replaced. I've ridden less than 8,000 miles with the new hub. I will update following the warranty request and Moog's response. I pay an additional $120 for labor as stores generally do not provide labor guarantees on items not purchased through them.
