Review on ๐Ÿ“ถ High-Performance TRAM 703-HC Center Load CB Antenna Kit: Unmatched Signal Quality and Range by Richard Orozco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You get what you pay for, some will work some won't.

Installed it first in the front of my van with a 'spool' of unused wire under the headliner. Got really good 1.2s across the tape, channel 1 and 40. Everything looked fine. Then when I reinstalled cb the signal got messed up. Much more than 2, even 3 in the red. Not good. Spend half a day figuring it out, including freezing the weird instrument in the fridge, moving the entire antenna, pulling out the coil under the headliner, and so on. Nothing made it work. After a while I welded a 2 inch piece to the Boundary Wire and adjusted it properly with a screw. Everything was great. I have it under 1.2. Couldn't find an old Saab probe to replace the top end of the antenna so I just used a piece of wire I bet it will bend or rust soon I'm happy instead of spending half a day with that crap.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some little things
