Wow, that thing is big! I have a 6 month old 4000 gallon filter in my bathroom and this 10,000 gallon wine under my kitchen sink and they both fit, it's just humongous. I've always wanted an under counter filter system. I am currently using Brita water jugs but they taste like shit. On the other hand, this system doesn't have a flashy flavor, which I appreciate. Setup was very easy and didn't take long. It was just difficult to get under the sink, as always happens. I had a leak at one of the plastic hose connections at first, but I unplugged the hose, cut it again to make sure it was a straight cut, and plugged it in and still no leak. It only has to do with your cold water line, which is good because then I can stop using filtered water for activities like washing clothes in the sink or washing my face. Don't judge me - these filters are expensive so I want them to last as long as possible. It's definitely worth the price. If they need to be replaced I will replace the small 6 month filter with a large 12 month filter. since at least they are currently priced the same and it easily fits under both sinks. It also does not affect the water pressure. You might as well buy this larger 10,000-gallon version since it costs the same as the smaller version, at least for now.
