The assembly of this organizer is simple and relatively quick. The rubber bands used to hold the pieces together are thick and seem strong so they're unlikely to fall apart. It also means you can't switch shelf levels on a whim every week. Although I don't think it will be a problem for anyone. It is very roomy and the personalization makes it easy to adjust to the height of your specific products. The platter spins very smoothly. The included makeup sponge isn't very good - I haven't used it to apply makeup yet, but it didn't hold its shape as well as I squeezed it while washing. I didn't buy it for a makeup sponge anyway, so it doesn't really matter, but I decided to review it anyway. You can never have too many makeup sponges.
