ACCELERATOR ATTACHES! DO NOT BUY - 2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71

After removing and installing the old OEM floor mats, I noticed that the accelerator pedal cannot be fully depressed without grasping the raised edge of this liner. I've had many "hard floor mats" models like Weathertech, Husky, Lund, and a few generics that cover five different cars, including a 2002 Silverado (the floors are the same as the Tahoe). Neither of them stepped on the accelerator like that. If the liner is even slightly forward (see my photos, we're talking maybe a half inch difference) the accelerator will lock that edge and STAY DOWN (full throttle). I would STRONGLY advise against buying these on a 2003 or similar Tahoe or any other GMT800 series even if you have floor mat hooks and they are nailed down. I've had many ground and cargo liners over the past decade and this one just looks like a disaster waiting to happen. And I'm far from the first to notice this problem - reviews of Rugged Ridge liners that capture the gas pedal for other makes of car also mention this. Do a search for Rugged Ridge 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ "Stuck Accelerator" and "Recall". Again, I didn't put them on old mats or push the liners apart. This is a very dangerous bad floor design. Also, the center left front fit/shape under the brake pedal doesn't follow the contours of the floor very well either, but that's a minor complaint given the accelerator pedal issue.
