Ridge Rugged Floor Mats for my 2006 Chevy 2500hd

I felt this was a definite improvement over the weather tech I had in my truck. They are heavier and just feel better underfoot. They have deep grooves and raised sides to help capture what your feet are carrying and stay in place, unlike my weather technique which is always moving under my feet. However, I wish they were a bit longer to fully cover the entire area, but actually the open area should never be seen by foot traffic. Overall great product!

Pros
  • Loads of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some difficulties

They must be fixed before use.

I'd give it five stars but why the heck did you put a hole right in the middle of the floor mat to keep the mat from sliding forward? I have two trucks, they have a great floor mat for both trucks. All you have to do is turn it over and 100% silicone, patch a big hole and stick some of the back of the emblem, it also has two holes for covering. There are a total of 3 holes to fill so they don't leak everywhere.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not bad

Outperforms WeatherTech and Husky without a doubt. Great product

I used to have Husky and WeatherTech mats and love them the most. They are very well built, not slippery at all, they have the right lip to keep you in the water without tripping and they fit perfectly. I will never go back to other brands after using this one. I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado Double Cab pickup and the fit was very accurate. They lay flat and took almost no time to settle down. There are no curls on the edges like a husky, and the fringe is better than the weather. The price was…

Good carpets for a lot of money.

I bought these floor mats because everyone was saying how good they are. At first I wasn't impressed, these mats were meant to be custom made but they didn't fit as well as one would expect. They have a large opening so you can mount them on the floor of your truck. My drivers side mat was missing the badge, I called the company and they said they would send it to me (still waiting). They have an awful smell that will hopefully dissipate over time. They are made in Taiwan, they are ok but not…

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Will be made

I wish I could rate it better.

The design leaves a lot of carpet around the accelerator pedal on the driver's side. I'm sure snow and mud can stay there. The passenger side exposes too much carpet and doesn't nestle snugly to the contours even after warming up. I'm sure there are better options for the 2001 Silverado. To update. gives them 1 star more. After 6 weeks of bad weather with mixed snow and sub-zero temperatures, I evaluated it in my truck. Apparently, not getting up behind the gas pedal isn't that big of a…

Well made, almost perfect fit for 2003 Silverado 1500

These floor mats are very pretty and appear to be well made. What I liked more about these liners compared to the Husky liners was that the Husky liners had an inverted lip on the edge that caught your feet every time you got in and out. These Rugged Ridges are not. It rises, but then connects back to the ground instead of curling up. Not all Husky liners are like this, but one for my truck is. A note: If you have a 4x4 floor derailleur, you may need to cut a small piece off the right side of…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

ACCELERATOR ATTACHES! DO NOT BUY - 2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71

After removing and installing the old OEM floor mats, I noticed that the accelerator pedal cannot be fully depressed without grasping the raised edge of this liner. I've had many "hard floor mats" models like Weathertech, Husky, Lund, and a few generics that cover five different cars, including a 2002 Silverado (the floors are the same as the Tahoe). Neither of them stepped on the accelerator like that. If the liner is even slightly forward (see my photos, we're talking maybe a half inch…
