I've been wearing SAS shoes for 10 years, they last an average of 4 to 5 years and are very comfortable. I have two pairs of shoes and change them every day. The inserts are washable, the leather is soft but of high quality. With regular polishing they will look good for many years. You will want them to wear out so you can get a new pair. I don't wear any other brands because SAS are simply the best shoes.
