Yesterday I made a curved pocket flap with facing rows on it and the bottom curved edge needed to be tucked in less than 1/4 inch before it was sewn on. Bring the edge of the foot over the curved band, sew the bottom edge in a perfectly fitting curve, then use this stitch as a sewing line to fold it in. This project alone was worth this price :=) I know I will use it often when adding multiple rows of trims to align in my craft. I've just had to go back and buy another to always have a spare just in case I break or lose the first one - I use it all the time and can't believe how nicely the bulky stitching fits underneath with normal sewing.
