I was very annoyed that Epson hard-coded Epson ink authentication into their firmware update a few months ago. I have tried different brands of third party inks but the XP-830 always rejected them. I reluctantly paid full price for her ink since the wife worked from home and the kids went to college. We needed a printer! I decided to give this ink a try after several reviewers said it worked with their machines and BOY am I glad I did! For about half the price, this ink worked great and printed flawlessly.
