I'm just learning how to paint with watercolors through a lot of experimentation. So far I've been using Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolor sets. However, I recently read an article about these watercolor pencils and decided to give them a try. I applied some water with a round brush to spread the color. I was amazed at how easily the colors melted and moved. I then did the same to the spots on the dinosaur, moving the paint back and forth with a wet brush. Then I just dip the pens straight into the water to see how that affects the drawing. I was once again amazed at how easy it was to work with. I ended up finishing the painting because honestly I didn't know what I was doing, so there are a lot of layers of paint using both techniques in the same place. /Region. Conclusion: Protection from idiots!
