This table lamp is very well made and I was surprised that the base and support arm are metal rather than plastic. My previous table lamp was unstable and could easily fall off, but this definitely won't. The lamp neck is made of silicone which looks very high quality and is easy to bend to adjust the height and angle of the LED component. Thanks to the stable base, the light can be adjusted with one hand. When it is on, the light is evenly distributed across the wide surface of the table, and you can adjust the light color by touching the buttons on the lamp body. My favorite feature of this LED table lamp is the auto-dimming function - it delivers exactly the brightness I want, never too dark or too bright. Of course, there's another touch button that lets you manually adjust the brightness, which I probably never will because there's a super handy auto-brightness option. From my previous experience with light, the light emitted by this lamp does not cause eye strain. The lamp also appears to be quite energy efficient, after a few hours of use the light barely heats up and certainly not "too hot to touch" like my previous lamp. I am very happy with this table lamp and I hope it will last a long time.
