Review on The Coldest Water Bottle: Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Hydro Travel Mug - Stay Ice Cold for up to 36 Hrs/Hot for 13 Hrs - Double Walled Flask with Strong Cap by Anthony Heinrichs

Unfortunately, this bottle (as much as I wanted to like it and was happy about other reviews) didn't live up to the hype. I received this bottle of water yesterday (05/24). When opening the packaging, the bottle smelled very metallic. I hand washed it! - I washed it and covered it with ice to leave it in the fridge overnight. I took it out at 8:30 in the morning, and today at 12:00 all the ice melted. The bottle has not been exposed to high temperatures (I brought it to the office from home, so the air conditioning was always at room temperature). The outside of the bottle (as long as it wasn't sweating) REALLY felt very cold. At first I put it down to taking it out of the fridge, but that went on all day until 12pm. I would assume that the vacuum flask shouldn't have an outside temperature, but I haven't tested it. However, the lid was sweating. Not much, but enough that I thought most of the cold was gone. For a bottle that advertises keeping drinks cold for 36 hours and based on some other reviews I believe this bottle may be defective. Or there is false advertising. Otherwise I like the design and the size. I'm just really disappointed that it didn't work. If you want something that will hold ice for a while and not sweat then this is your product but for the money I'd rather buy something that works as advertised. I will return and invest in a better bottle.
