Let me start by saying I LOVE this product! I keep cool humidifiers in each of my boys rooms and usually use them year round (my eldest has had dry skin in the past and it seems to help a lot). I have a Crane Duck humidifier in one room and a Sunpentown/MyFine polar bear in another. My only complaint is that the tank opening on the polar bear is too small to accommodate a cartridge. I would like the bead on the cartridge to be slightly smaller to fit. I used to clean both humidifiers weekly with vinegar and water, otherwise the parts would get slimy and small particles would float in the water. I've been using it in Duck for about 2-3 weeks and haven't had to clean it at all (except for a quick rinse). Will definitely buy again and highly recommend (if your humidifier has a large enough tank opening).
