So I got this to increase the humidity in my terrarium. The first day I installed it it started leaking right away where the tank is in the base. And I'm not talking about a small leak. It's constantly dripping from different places. I tried to inspect the inside to determine what the problem was, but nothing seemed "wrong" to me. I put the car in a pan to catch the water that came out because I was planning to send it back but wanted to see if it would really help against the damp beforehand. I bought this product because I liked the options to control when the car starts and how long it fogs up. I liked those controls. And it really helped against the humidity. Instead of crating the machine as planned, I decided to try to get it working by finding a way to seal off the area where the water was leaking. First mistake. I tried flexible tape (it was a joke). At this point, I was determined (and pretty pissed off about the whole situation). I took liquid silicone and gently smeared it around the leak to effectively seal the water. The joke is on me because it appears to have caused a different problem. The fan started making a strange noise and the machine stopped working that same night. No longer generates fog. Of course I can't return it. Lost $65. Here's what I get for trying. In short, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Nothing could be done to fix the stupid car.
