Review on Emerson Ceiling CF711ORS Indoor 50 Inch by Buffy Foley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The device is fine after installation. It might be easier to get there.

From above. Not including some instructions and a list of parts in the box is simply unacceptable. "What's that random screw floating around in the box for?" "Why 16 screws for 15 fan blade mounting holes?" "What's that screw in the bag for." Your engineers and technicians might know what's in the box is and where everything belongs, but it's a good idea to share this information with your customers. Your competitors are doing it. There's nothing I like, and I wouldn't say Emerson performs any better than the competition when it comes to installation. Basically very similar, except other brands have switched to push pins for the blades instead of screws. Also, the Emerson blade sits so tight on the motor mount that you'll scratch your motor if you're not careful - never had this problem on others. Even if I hadn't googled and found instructions on their website, I wouldn't have known. via the little finger/pointer on the holder, which is fixed in the ball. I'd probably break it if I didn't look (as I wanted to know what that random loose screw in the box was - never found out.) The motor is a little louder, but don't complain about it. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't have competitors to compare myself to. I think Emerson moves a little more air. I didn't need a balance kit. I bought it on sale and it was $30 less than a similar set. For €30 the defects are acceptable.
