Review on LeapFrog Blues Clues Handy Tracker by James Vachon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Blues Clues fans should love this.

I picked it up for my grandson. He loves blues cues and loves playing with them, although guided cues are still a bit beyond his grasp. However, he likes to have a notebook and can pretend to play along. My daughter found out that he is closely associated with a few episodes of the TV show and the voice I believe is the voice of the show's current 'host'. Show. I love the continuity of it, especially for the show's younger fans. The quality seems good and in line with most modern educational toys on the market today. I think he'll survive his grandson's abuse of some of his toys (although he's a bit more careful with this particular notebook). I won't lie and say it holds his attention for hours. He's 3:10 minutes is awesome. However, over time he gets back to her and I think that means he likes her. This is a nice addition for fans of the show and really tries to get the kid thinking about how to solve the clues. In the world of screens, this is a great way to get a child interested in logical thinking that isn't related to tablets or screens. The digital element is still there, but it's a different way of interacting. Overall I would recommend it.
