Review on 🚰 Optimized Everpure EV9270-72 & EV9270-71 Replacement Cartridges by Elmito Yeager

I have been using these for a number of years. I've noticed a drop in quality over the last year. I used to be able to easily get a new filter and put it in. Now the filters always flow. I've seen other complaints about this. This is easily fixed with teflon tape, but the instructions don't state the need for teflon tape, and older versions never required it. None of them have ever worked for me. The last one I just received had red liquid in the indicator area (fortunately it didn't spill somewhere else). Keep in mind that if you live in areas with high levels of sediment, they suck life. We're talking 2-3 months if you're lucky. Much better with high density, but not by much. I get a pre-filter to fix this situation.
