I recently used the HeySplash Swim Buoy Float during an open water swim and it definitely helped keep me visible to boaters and other swimmers. The bright orange color is hard to miss and the device floats along behind you as you swim, making it easy to keep track of. It was also easy to inflate and deflate and pack up afterwards. The only downside was that it did slow me down a bit in the water, but that's a small price to pay for added safety.
