Hard to beat. Comark is the culinary subsidiary of the legendary Fluke brand, whose quality is directly related to its production. It is very accurate and very waterproof. I even accidentally put water in the battery compartment; I haven't fully backed it up. I thought it was toast, like most water-soaked electronics; I ordered a replacement unit and within two days of receiving the new unit my first one was dry and working perfectly. I also like that the "sleeve" for the probe snaps onto the back of the probe, allowing for greater range at the temperature of something that generates enough heat to burn your fingers (like boiling water, hot oil etc.).
