Review on πŸ”’ Enhance Safety & Convenience with Raider FH-100 Quick Release for All Raider Helmet Straps, Black by Kyle Bonnell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

EXACTLY the same as the PowerMadd Speed Clip but cheaper and DOT approved

When I bought my last FF helmet I decided to try the quick release clip mainly because I was tired of it was gloved to play around with D-rings. I purchased the PowerMadd Speed Clips and was very impressed with how quick and easy they are and how well they work. Since I have more than one helmet I decided to get Speedclips for all of them. These signature Raider clips are exactly the same as the PowerMadd except for the injection molded tags and cost less! Installation is simple, snap a square or round clip through the webbing holding the D-rings or clip behind the D-rings. Rings (if sewn to the straps). Insert a square or round clip into the receiver and this side is done! On the other side, only the strap has to be threaded through the "clip clip". Most people complain that they cannot be used unless you have a small "latch" on the strap (which keeps the extra strap from blowing in the wind). . THIS IS NOT TRUE, but you REALLY need to cut the strap to REMOVE the latch from the end. You won't need it anyway, so feel free to cut it off. Using a good pair of sharp scissors, make a round or angled cut and burn the edges with a lighter to melt the nylon and prevent fraying. UPDATE: I've been using these quick release skewers on my helmets for over a year now without reporting a single issue. I've recently added helmets (of various styles and sizes) to replace/upgrade for myself and other family members and have just ordered a few more of these quick release clips. You can't beat the comfort and ability to quickly attach the chin strap (and detach it with one finger). I seriously don't know why they aren't standard on every helmet sold! This is a MUST if you have to constantly put your helmet on and off (short commutes, business trips, etc.)!

Pros
