Review on 🚪 A-Premium Door Lock Actuator - Compatible with Audi A1 (2011-2014), Volkswagen Tiguan (2009-2014), CC (2009-2015), Amarok (2011-2012), and Seat Ibiza - Front Left Driver Side by Harry Ashcraft

Started correctly but only ran for two months. Something went wrong with the electrical system. Now the car won't lock. I had to replace it with the original lock, which is lockable, but something mechanical no longer allows the door to be opened from the outside. (For some weird reason it works upside down.) FYI for others suffering from this issue: Something was lost in my original lock that prevents the outside handle mechanism from grabbing the part that opens the latch hook. It comes back upside down and this thing works every time. I suspect the little spring holding this piece in place has come loose, or it was disconnected from the feature's locking motor, which would have held it where it is now to prevent the door from opening from the outside opens, and to pull it up it works external handle (unlocked). I will contact the seller if they help me with a new one. I do not recommend this lock to buy or buy. It fit perfectly and worked, but mine was only for a short time. Maybe you'll have better luck next time. Edit: Ordered a second time and failed again 5 months later. Sorry, this is not a durable product.
