Review on 🚒 Fusion Entertainment MS-RA70N: Advanced Marine Entertainment System with Bluetooth and NMEA 2000 Compatibility by Shawn Xayamonty

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fantastic machine but no stock Apple volume control and doesn't cover noise

MS-RA70N Bought from JB Tools via Prime for $289 +tax and received a normal MS-RA70 3 days later. I sent this back because NMEA2000 is a must for me. Bought the same unit from ShipSound for $269 (tax free, not prime, showed 10 days delivery time) and got the MS-RA70NX in just 2 days! The device works great. I really hope Fusion fixes the blank screen issue. My previous two MS-IP600's each had 3-4 years before the screens went black. I'll probably never use the addon on Sirius/XM, so I don't need NX. NMEA is cool. Check out the photos associated with my Lowrance HDS7 Gen3. I like to control it from my touchscreen navigator. The Fusion app works great from my phone but doesn't support an Apple Watch. Be careful, if you want to use your iPhone's or watch's built-in controls directly over Bluetooth, you won't be able to adjust the volume. I just left my Fusion BT-100 by the side entrance and bingo! Clock and iPhone control with volume. It's almost like losing a star. Be careful #2: It's much smaller than the MS-IP600 I replaced. I had some ugly spots I wanted to hide, so I needed a mounting plate. The mounting plate of the RA-200MP is too small. See my review on it. I 3D printed my own mounting plate using white non-yellowing ASA filament. See photo. Ideal! Fusion has to offer that. 3 stars for the installation because it doesn't really cover where I removed my previous single din fusion connector. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this device and am happy with my choice. I also LOVE the NMEA controls!
