I wouldn't use it in my bed as I don't think the sides are high enough for a baby to roll over and it's too soft. Sure use it on a baby while sleeping but I use it in the living room and put my niece down when I'm around and I need to use my hands for something other than baby to keep! It is soft, well made and has a lovely elephant pattern on both sides. I appreciate that it is easy to clean. This can also make a great changing mat as it's so soft!
