I ordered this product after purchasing a 2012 MCS a few months ago. I wanted to connect my iPhone 7 to my car via Bluetooth and still be able to play music from the phone. MCS can connect to iPhone via Bluetooth, but only for calls. When I received the product, I quickly realized that this product was far from outstanding in terms of performance. Sound quality was below average when it worked, which was good or not (right out of the box). If you are looking for a Y-cable replacement for your European car, I would recommend purchasing an OEM product. I found out the hard way that while this product was more economical, it was severely lacking in functionality and in no way replaced the OEM "Y-Cable".
