This camera delivers crystal clear images. Its ability to shoot in low light is decent. The microphone can pick up the voices of everyone in the room, making it great for conference calls. However, I mainly use it to capture my face while recording my gaming sessions. Video quality is excellent for this purpose, but the microphone isn't perfect. It picks up the sound of my keyboard (brown mechanical switches) and the sounds of other people talking in the room, which left my teammates unhappy. Because of this, it's not a good idea to use the microphone on the camera while gaming. This camera, paired with a separate dedicated microphone for voice communication, is essential for gaming. If that appeals to you, I can recommend this webcam to you. I asked the manufacturer for help with the sound, they suggested quite a complicated process to improve the sound. This process seemed geared more toward ensuring all voices were in the room, which further improves video conferencing, but not for gaming, as keyboards and other unwanted noise are recorded even more clearly.
