It's leaning against a shoebox at the moment, the stand is probably good enough but I find it easier to just lean it against something. Picture quality is good and 1080p at 15 inches is tighter than 1440p at 27 inches, so no complaints. I had connection problems for a long time and on a whim I ordered a new mini HDMI to HDMI cable and it works much better. My only concern is that the menus will be distracting when used without the remote. You cannot return to a tab in the menu as you can only select up, down or . (I think you can come back if you select something and then hold, but that wasn't intuitive at the time.) I'd say the build quality is good, but the ports and menu controls aren't.
