You are amazing! It took me three wicks to burn properly and the sides turn black if the candle burns too long. When the wax is completely melted, the can will heat up, but that's to be expected. They hold about 7-8 ounces of candle wax, I use a scale to measure the dry wax before melting it. I go a little over the "full line" but I have no questions or complaints from my customers. This is the best pewter I've found and you can't beat the value! I use soy and paraffin.
