I am a professional chef and wanted an inexpensive zester for on the go, but here you get what you pay for. This cester is terrible for citrus. The peel clings to the blades instead of flowing smoothly over them. Skin yield is minimal compared to the same fruit with Microplane brand skins. Because the shell caught on the blades, I found it dangerous for my fingers. You think you're getting the rhythm, and then the fruit stops, but the hand keeps moving, forcing you to chop off your fingertips slightly. I'm sending it back and I'll never leave my microplane again!
