Wow, that's a great grater. The grid is only one size. The grates are pretty good the size you want to shred your lettuce into. Easy to use. super sharp. For the price unbeatable!

Looks like the microplane has had a rough time. The lid was dirty and broken, the steel was bent and looked like low quality steel. One of the top two rubber tips was missing.

Besides being great for citrus peel, ginger, garlic and cheese, it's easy to clean and comes with a plastic sleeve. Excellent value for money, an indispensable kitchen tool.

Make Hello Fresh at home. Every recipe has something useful. I've checked out Walmart and the Dollar Tree and can't find Zester. Now let's prepare the food according to the instructions. The narrow side of a cheese grater is not suitable for slicing the skin.

This cester is very sharp! It goes very quickly and easily with Parmesan cheese, ginger and lemon zest. This is definitely an upgrade on my Dollar Store model and it's nice that they include a plastic sleeve so it can be covered when put away as it's sharp enough to cut itself. It's not as easy to clean as my old one, but it works a lot better so I don't care.

I am a professional chef and wanted an inexpensive zester for on the go, but here you get what you pay for. This cester is terrible for citrus. The peel clings to the blades instead of flowing smoothly over them. Skin yield is minimal compared to the same fruit with Microplane brand skins. Because the shell caught on the blades, I found it dangerous for my fingers. You think you're getting the rhythm, and then the fruit stops, but the hand keeps moving, forcing you to chop off your fingertips…

Pros: Very durable - looks like OXO brand cookware - but no brand name on it. The lid snaps on and off easily - which is a good thing because these blades are SHARP! Cons: Am I using it wrong? Is there a trick to holding/tilting it? If so, then I haven't found it. But - this is my first time using Zester. When I try to peel a lime or lemon, it doesn't slide smoothly across the microplane.
