Review on Game console Valve Steam Deck 256 GB SSD, black by Micha Osiski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

I looked at a lot of reviews on YouTube and everything they say about weight, noise is nonsense. In the hands for two hours quietly held, the fans are still not audible in the headphones. Those people who play shooters on this device - who are you? Almost every review mentioned that you can turn on Linux and do all sorts of things. You can connect a mouse and keyboard, and play with might and main, as on a large PC - why? When asked whether to take it, there is only one answer - of course, if you don’t want to sit at a PC for hours on end. What price to take? Below 60 thousand. Everything above is still not worth it and it would be better to consider a full-fledged PC, which will already give out 1080p 60 frames, and not 800p and 30 frames. Played games like: 1. Kena bridge of spirits 2. All series of Lego games are great 3. Stardew Valley 4. The gunk 5. Nobody save the world 6. Hollow Knight 7 Dead cells 8. Death doors 9. Cult of the lumb 10. Control For a list of games where there are no network titles, this is an excellent device (because I practically don’t play network games myself). By myself I will say that the hands did not touch the computer to turn it on.

Pros
  • A wonderful portable PC (as VALVE themselves call it), where the entire Steam library is in your hands, but the best use is indie games, 2d platformers, games with simple graphics (does not negate the fact that large projects will go, but still this is probably , it is better to pass on a PC (like the same Hogwarts)). SteamOS is basically intuitive and easy to use. Just logged in, clicked download the game - you play. That's it, no fuss with games (I didn't install third-party launchers, most likely, I'll have to mess around). You don’t need more to go through all that you bought.
Cons
  • 1. Battery. Two and a half hours holds and two and a half hours to charge - parity. In 2d titles, you can still survive more hours. 2. In the game, Kena Bridge of spirits hung up and went into reboot twice (that is, it just rebooted the steam deck, PC - there is a PC) (I filmed the video). 3. Hull creak. Right in one small place and not critical at all (I would not say that this is a drawback). 4. The percentage of charge does not show correctly. 100% when fully charged is not seen to show, always shows 99% as a starting point. 5. Switching accounts. The console restarts when switching accounts is in progress - a very strange decision. 6. With some games, you still have to have fun in terms of graphics. The same Kena bridge of spirits spent an hour to set up for 30 frames. As a result, I just found a preset on the forum and set it as indicated (the ghosting effect is present, there is no getting away from it)

Happy with the purchase as an elephant. A great thing for closing the backlog and trips to the country.
