Review on Toshiba SD2800 Player Component Output by Hikeboy Ramey

I've had this player for about 5 years, it's a real fighter. It was easy to set up and use. The only problems with "Disc Error" stem from the fact that burned discs may be over-compressed or have too new a codec for it. However, one of the positives I have found with this unit is the excellent sound quality I get when using the optical output with my component stereo. The only drawback: With almost every DVD, like with a record, a second of sound is skipped at the very beginning of the playback and then played on to the end without any problems. I never understood it, but I came to terms with it easily. Overall, this DVD player has served me well and I would recommend it to most people. Of course, since a lot is geared towards HD, this device is quite outdated. However, if you're currently happy that you don't have to see every pore of a person, instead opting for an immersive story, this module is simple and perfect.
