Let me say upfront: I'm not saying what happened to me will happen to you. I can only tell you what I experienced. I have ordered three of these items. They installed well and work great. The next day after installation, the glass case on one of them broke and began to crumble near the bottom of the case - where you screw in the glass. Small pieces of glass fell on my kitchen island where my children eat. So as soon as I noticed it, I took the case off and cleaned the broken glass. I then contacted Pathson customer service. They apologized and agreed to send a double glazed window for replacement. Almost a month later I received a replacement lens. And to my dismay there was a lot of broken glass inside (see attached video). I then immediately contacted Patson to let them know what happened. They apologized again and arranged another replacement. Exchange over exchange! It was August 9th. It is now August 26th and I am still waiting for a replacement. You would think that with such inconvenience they would ship it overnight or at least 2 days. nope! Let's wait another month, how about this?! If it weren't for the inconvenience I would give this product five stars. But customer service is included with this product. So customer service gets a bad mark here, along with the initial destruction of the first display case. I will not tell you not to buy this product. But if you do, be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.
