I've been fumbling for items in my safe in the dark for years. No longer! This simple and inexpensive device does the same job with the same efficiency as upgrading a lighted safe for a few hundred dollars. Instead of using mounting screws or a magnet (which wasn't strong enough to lift the metal behind the felt in my safe), I took a small strip of velcro and attached it to the back of the lantern. Because the entire safe is lined with soft felt material, I can literally stick this light anywhere. It also makes it easy to remove and replace for charging. I attached it to the ceiling of the safe. It's out of my line of sight but illuminates every corner of the safe and turns on automatically when it detects movement of an opening door. Time will tell how long this light will last, but whatever the duration, I'm very glad I bought it.
