In my opinion if you have a claimant you need it. My car is 3 weeks old and has already had 3 paint scratches on the front wheel arches due to the big rims and tires sticking out so much which looks great btw. Destinations suck, but if you take your time and look through everything, you'll be fine. The fit was perfect, they look almost normal. I did as others have pointed out and put a clear vinyl underneath to keep the color from coming off which is listed here as a '3M bra' and sold in 1' wide strips which is great works.The third hole to drill for the front guard isn't necessary and they fit nice and tight without moving.I wasn't planning on drilling holes in my new scat pack and I'm a seasoned guy lol.Me have added photos as well as videos I would definitely recommend them and I think they look great.
