I really want to love it

I really want to love this item. The workmanship is very good. My only concern is how the buckle will hold up. Scratches terribly, scratches very easily with just one pair of socks. For this reason I am discussing a return. **I would not recommend attaching your dog's leash to this collar as the buckle is not secure and a medium sized dog is likely to break loose with moderate or even light pulling.** I've only had it a few times for decorative purposes used. Given how scratched it is, I doubt it will look good for long.
