It would also be nice if the modem broke after the connector. The position of the modem affects the quality of communication. Sometimes a modem sticking out to the side can be difficult to place. Got pros: Does not require any action when used with Keenetic routers. I plugged the SIM card, the modem into the router, - it's ready, it works. Two modems on the same port do not conflict, I have not tried three. Different cons: The lid is lost, it would have a lace to the body, or at least a loop for a lace.
