This chair is too narrow (19 inches from armrest to armrest). Thanks to the narrow armrests, your legs won't move even a little apart. The armrests prevent you from getting too close to the sliding keyboard on your desk. The upholstery material is the same as the color. However, you may see cheap materials while gathering. It doesn't even come with the telescoping plastic cover that most adjustable raise/lower chairs have. pneumatic mechanism, for example. This chair becomes uncomfortable after several hours of sitting. I would just try it before you buy it. I'm wondering if this would be comfortable for a smaller person even though I'm only 5ft 7in? So I'm not sure how much smaller a person can get before this chair is comfortable.
